Great public picknic areas with shady spots out of the sun, lots of restrooms available, many areas to shower off the sand. Pavilions are plentiful and ready to rent for gatherings and such. Neat underground tunnels giving direct access to spacious well guarded beaches. Dogs welcome in certain areas at certain times. Awesome short walks through their mangroves which pass by the intracoastal. Large park with 2 access points to enter and or exit onto A1A. New playgrounds for kids that are clean and well maintained. The park itself is immaculate, you will always see park maintenance crews hard at work. The North area of the park houses Boca Ratons lifeguard headquarters. This park although shares its beaches with the general public as being a free beach to access at 40th Street. To enter the park by vehicle there are fees, it's considered private. Locals have the opportunity to gain access by vehicle however for considerably less of a charge with their yearly decals purchased at Town Hall. 40th Street is always popular with surfers when the waves are good, but the lifeguards section off an area that they police so as not to let any swimmers come into contact with them. Parking is plentiful even on busy days. There are disabled parking spots closer to the tunnels to the beach. A fairly new feature to the park is a wheelchair friendly blue plastic like pathway, directly from the beginning of the beach, after the tunnels, that leads out to the middle of the wide beach. This feature is not only very practical but it also saves your poor hot feet on that mid Summer sand ! One final feature worth mentioning is a cozy campground, not large of a space, but just right and hidden away for privacy. I've even witnessed fishermen hard at work here over the years ! All in all, worth the price - there is enough to do to keep you there for a full day. This has been one of my favorite frequented parks since a...

Beautiful view, park is clean, beach is clean and you can rent an umbrella and chairs for 10 dollars an hour but do remember it's 19 dollars for all day at this place; which leads to my one problem, the bathroom, especially number 3, is disgusting... the sign says they clean it daily at 12 in the afternoon. No, you DON'T. It was inhuman and deplorable being that there are only two stalls to keep clean and one sink. Disgraceful, especially with the amount of traffic they receive daily. Anyway, the park area has benches and chairs, this is apart from the beach area which has lifeguards - thank God- because the waves can get a bit ruff for the little kids. There is a Lagoon which is part of the park but I didn't see it. The attendant was cordial and kind at both the entrance and at the beach. But again... if the park people are reading.... you have a lovely place, just keep the bathrooms clean with so much traffic and the bathrooms being small the mess accumulates faster and I would suggest adding a large stainless steel garbage can inside with a lid, brighter bulbs it looks scary in there like a horror movie, and repaint the stalls to a lighter color if your not going to change the bulbs.... change bulbs are easier... I'm sure you can afford these minor changes from the overlook of traffic if you get 29 dollars from each customer since it says they stay 1.5 hours: 19 for parking and access to park plus 10 if you rent umbrella and seats, which a fair amount do. But most revenue comes from entrance, the turn over is still good at 1.5 hours stay with moderate rate of customers. Please clean the bathrooms, children use the too. But pretty decals up of your park, sea shells, waves, surf boards, lifeguard sign, a sign about water safety... that should be at both sides of tunnel entrance... well have a good time if you visit. Help...

Spanish River Park is a beautiful and well-maintained spot in Boca Raton, offering a serene escape with lush greenery and direct beach access. One of its best features is the tunnel that safely connects the park to the beach, allowing visitors to reach the ocean without worrying about traffic.

The park is equipped with excellent amenities, including playgrounds, volleyball nets, and clean bathrooms. It’s the perfect place for a picnic, a beach day, or just a relaxing time in nature.

However, the biggest downside is the admission fee. The park used to charge $18 per car, which was already on the higher side, but the recent increase to $50 per car is simply outrageous. This steep price seems to have discouraged many families from visiting, as we noticed very few people during our time there.

While the park itself is fantastic, the high cost is making us reconsider coming back. If the fees remain this high, we will likely look for another park that offers similar amenities without the...

The beach was as nice as any other beach around here. I came to meet some friends. But just know this PARKING IS $50. There was nothing really awe about this beach. I personally prefer Deerfield Beach ⛱️. It has a beautiful park, and I guess that some might justify the price if you come with a lot of people and you could all chip in. But when you come by yourself to meet others, $50 is outrageous. I remember last year I came here to meet some friends also and the parking was $25. Oh well, it might be for some, but definitely not for me. Of course, I still enjoyed myself lol and I took several pictures and videos to remind myself to ask the price of things before agreeing to meet friends at places you think they are free like the beach 😅🤣
