3 stars for the food. only for the food. my 50/50 was good even though it was ice cold. fries seemed undercooked but it worked out cause i can pop those in the toaster oven but i just can't mike my lettuce nor pick it all outta my gyro. story goes, i show up in the 10 minutes she said it'd take and pay (and tip!). she says it's not ready so i sit and watch all these effin gyros go out and hear those numbers climbing and hear that crab lady talk smack about them being soooo picky because they want sauce on the side. i tell her my number after 10 minutes in and point out she's calling out numbers way beyond mine and i just wanted to check. she cops an attitude with me and puts the cooks on the spot and they say it's coming right now, yup, my number?, yup. seems like another 10 minutes go by...order up-not mine! she actually hears me now when i say my number and looks at my receipt again and gives me the stack of boxes that have been on the counter since i got there, 20 minutes ago. (seriously) all set?, yup. i get NO apology, not a single word, just gives it to me. She needs to know, she's bad at her job. Everyone was walking on eggshells for her. i witnessed at least three very rude encounters between her and other customers. You need to say, "i'll be right with you", not "you can pay when i get to the register" with a stank face to an elderly woman! i was burning up inside. i kept quiet and waited for my number to be called as she so elequently stated we'd all better start doing. She can't multitask and be friendly. We all get busy at work! Doesn't mean you have to take it out on everyone else! Maybe she's the owner, must be why she gets away with it. Not sure if i'll go back. Maybe my husband will be the one to pick it up instead so he can put her in her place. She needs to come...

Decided that I would give this place another try because it’s been a while. It’s no better. It’s actually worse in my opinion.
French fries were definitely from yesterday. The salad was shreds of lettuce with onion and little tiny pieces of tomato unlike it used to be the meat was OK but definitely overdone on the flat top. The bread was greasy. The Gyro platter over $16 but I did add the 1.25 extra meat option.
Will be my last visit. There’s other places in the neighborhood that are better. I do not recommend this place anymore..
I’ve been going to this place for years. Pretty much ever since they opened. They were always called souvlaki fast. Well now called souvlaki time but still has a store on door dash taking orders for this actual address. I place an order and the order was actually confirmed. Went there to pick up my order and they say we don’t even accept door dash. I’m like well you took my money and confirmed my order. They acted like I was speaking a different language. Then tell me what I have to do. I said well here’s an idea it’s not my problem to sort out your issues with your company. My thought is you took my money either give me my food or my money back. So it basically took me 40 minutes to get my money back from door dash. I still have no food. Displays could learn a little bit about customer service and I will never return.
I love when places try to give me an attitude for their screw ups. But they didn’t know that I’m a full-time food blogger.
I really don’t recommend here unless you want nothing but headaches and no customer service. I’m sorry to say after years of coming here I will not return. What a...
Read moreSouvlaki Time, a charming family-owned restaurant, offers an exceptional dining experience for those seeking authentic and delicious Greek cuisine made to order. Unlike typical fast-food chains, this establishment prides itself on quality and personalized service.
I can personally attest to the mouthwatering Lamb Gyros, which are regarded as the best in town thanks to their reasonable prices and generous portions. The hummus and tzatziki appetizer never fails to impress, while the perfectly seasoned lamb chops and fresh Greek salad showcase the restaurant's dedication to quality ingredients.
With the owners frequently present, Souvlaki Time exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere that enhances every meal. A standout menu item is the Philly cheesesteak sandwich, a favorite of my husband's featuring tender beef, onions, and peppers that is simply a must-try.
Despite a puzzling negative review from Marianne Guiliani who curiously continues to dine at the restaurant despite her criticisms, it is evident that Slouvaki Time maintains a loyal following due to its delicious offerings and inviting ambiance. Whether for lunch or dinner, this establishment is a gem worth...
