Boerne City Park is a great refuge at all times but especially during COVID. There is so much space and so much to do that distancing isn't hard . It has been the saving grace for my 5 year old who has gone stir crazy at home for months. We use the walking trails, biking trails soccer fields and playground. He loves watching all the different athletes practicing and seeing what the big kids do. We have enjoyed our nature experience. Always some horses out there as well as deer and gorgeous birds.

A very nice small Texas town local park. Went for little kids soccer games, great fields, kept in great condition. Saw a lot of other things to do, tennis courts, walking paths, kids jungle gyms. The public restrooms were in good condition, for a public park. There was more there, but didn't have a chance to see/visit it. I'd definitely take a day-trip up to the town to see the town and spend time at the park.

Brings back lots of good memories for me! I spent a lot of time there when I was a little girl. The place has changed completely. Now u can't drive down there and bbq. It's more of a nature trail now. My husband and I went there for driftwood and he had to throw a line in 2. I'll always have the memories.

Well cared for and maintained. Beautiful Lake, tables shaded by trees, Bar-B-Q pits provided, and fire pits available. Even though it was extremely crowded everybody was respectful of each other space and music so there was no blasting of music across the lake and into each other's sites. The gentleman at the front gate that was controlling the influx of people was very kind and explanatory. The only issue I had was the lack of close parking available. As we arrived with for kayaks attached to our vehicle. We received a ticket while trying to load our kayaks back onto our vehicle, when we went down to the lake side to go bring 2 more kayaks up to put on our trailer. I feel the officer should have investigated a little bit more when it came to our vehicle and where it was parked. All he had to do was look on the other side of our vehicle and note The Kayaks laying on the side of the ground waiting to be loaded onto the trailer. He came at the end of the day when people were leaving, he really should have showed up earlier in the day when there were over 50 cars parked illegally. Because of this I can only write the...

I’ve been coming to this park for years! Still the same as before when boerne was less populated! Lol Parking is limited on the concrete otherwise you park on the side of the streets. The road is one way! The have a little museum area that has been there for years! Not sure how you can schedule for a tour, and if you can! The boerne pool is located on the property as well which you can buy day passes for, but you’d have to get online for hours and details. There are nice well kept tennis courts! This park is very clean and pet friendly. There is a kids playground, and public restroom near the play area. Basketball hoops in the parking area as well. Lastly, the last part you’d need to see it the Cibolo Nature Center! Especially if you like to walk around in nature! Great area which is a great area for kids, and pets...

It was really fun going with my family to enjoy a quiet nature filled meal outdoors! There is so much for your eyes to take in especially seeing it for the first time. Thr scenary and the huge creek will not disappoint you. If you love walking trails they have many different paths to walk on. The park has paved paths if you don't feel like walking on terrains but personally i do. When you walk on one of the paths you walk by the tall grass as high as your body! Just imagine the scene from jurassic park with the raptors hiding and ready to pounce! One of the other neat highlights is they have a look out tower. It is pretty neat and its all made up of would carving. Best park yet and it was even crowded on mothers day when i went with my momma and family!...
