DON'T EAT HERE... I rarely, if ever, give bad reviews, but I couldn't let this one slide... This is an absolutely horrible location. We came into the restaurant and put down a clean and new folder down on the table to save our spot while we ordered at the counter. We'd done this a million times before at other places and never had an incident. We went to the register/counter to ask questions about the menu and the girls at the register couldn't even answer our basic questions. They claimed, with tons of snarkiness, that they were new. I understand if you are new that you may not know everything, but you should at least be shadowing someone. I've worked in food service; I know how it goes. They seemed extremely annoyed that we were asking questions about the menu. I'm sorry, but I want to know more about what I am, potentially, ordering... At this point we decided not to eat there after the rudeness we experienced when asking about the menu... We go back to our table to get the folder that we had placed on there and it was GONE! We had only been at the counter for less than 5 minutes and there were no dirty items on the table where we set the folder. We asked where our folder was and they looked at us like we were crazy! No one even tried to help us find our folder, which had the floorplans and everything in it for our custom home. We were ignored and finally said, "Who bussed this table?" No one responded or came forward... CRICKETS!! We said it again, only this time much louder... Finally this guy says, "Oh yeah, I did, I threw it away." No apology. Needless to say my personal property was thrown away. We even questioned why as the table wasn't even dirty and we had literally been there for under 5 minutes... We ended up getting our folder back, but the outside and some of the contents was completely ruined. They didn't apologize or care; just made excuses that they had to BUS A CLEAN TABLE. The "manager" was like, "oh sorry, but we have great burgers for you to order; you should try one." Give me a break. I've never even eaten at the Longhorn Cafe and, now, I don't think I ever will (especially not this location) because they lack of CUSTOMER SERVICE... Plus $8 for a club sandwich without any fries is high; especially since the place is glorified fast food. Save your $$ money $$ and...
Read moreLook, the food is good-ish.. but we always have a problem with service whenever we go and it is irritating. They NEVER. GET. THE. ORDER. RIGHT. THE. FIRST. OR EVEN THE SECOND. TIME. I once ordered food with my sister through the drive thru - after over 10 minutes we had to knock on the window. They forgot about us. Finally a girl saw us and we waved for her to come to the window. She smiled and waved back. We nearly threw a fit we were so bewildered how anyone could be so stupid. Then we basically had to play charades to get her to finally realize to come to the window. Turns out she didn't speak English and had no idea what she was doing so we are pretty sure she is an illegal alien (especially since one of the requirements for getting a working visa to the US is to speak English) - if it is true then shame on Longhorn for supporting criminal illegal immigration. Since she didn't speak English, she just stared at us when she opened the window. After telling her repeatedly to find someone who can help us, she finally went off to find someone. Finally someone came to the window and had to retake our order. Then we waited over half an hour and waved down the lady again - WHO THEN WAVED BACK AT US AGAIN! Are you kidding me? We paid around $55 between the two of us and we were forgotten twice already!? Now we have to deal with someone who doesn't speak English and doesn't know to come to the window but instead waves at us?? After another frustrating game of charades, she finally came to the window. Then got someone. Who once again took our orders because they magically forgot again. They then handed us our bags after waiting over an hour at the window total. Except the order was completely wrong. They forgot the guacamole on the guacamole burger. It is even in the name of the burger. The forgot our drinks. They forgot the mushrooms. They forgot the jalepenos. They gave my sister the completely wrong order. It took them 3 tries to get it right. We had been at the window now for over an hour and a half, ordered 3 times, and corrected the order 3 times, after being forgotten about TWICE.
I messaged them on Facebook and told them what happened. It was seen, but never responded to.

Read moreThe service we received here was deplorable to say the least. We chose this restaurant in Boerne to have a lunch for our guests after the funeral for our Mother. This occurred on the 26th of February. We went a day ahead and spoke with the manager on duty and to pay the $100 deposit to secure the room they have upstairs. We were advised how the ordering process would go and that one person would be assigned to help us. We were assured that the room would be ready with a drink station to include ice, cups, tea, soda and water at 12:00. We left confident that this would all work out well and we had one less thing to worry about. I left immediately after the funeral to greet our guest as they arrived. We had about 30 guests. I found the door to our reserved room locked. After finding someone to unlock the door the room was dark and no preparations had been done as promised. I spoke with the manager on duty and he said he knew nothing of this. I explained the situation and let him know that we had paid the deposit the day before and our guests were on their way. His attitude was less than acceptable and he was of no help. We had to retrieve all of the ice and drinks and set the room up ourselves. We had our guests fill out their food order requests and took them down to be filled. Over an hour later I went down to check on the status of our food. I spoke with the manager again. He was just starting to enter our orders then. It took over an hour and a half for our guests to start receiving their food and some guests never received their order at all. This was the most embarrassing and humiliating experience for our family to have to go through with our guests. Our bill was well over $500.00 plus the deposit of $100.00. I sent an email to the director of operations two days after to describe our experience to have no response as of today, seven days later. If you are planning to have any kind of event at this restaurant you may want to reconsider. Happy to take your money and not provide the service.
