Herff Farm — Attraction in Boerne

The farm itself was gorgeous. Everyone I spoke with was really nice as well.

I was only disappointed that the fudge vendor there sold me fudge that contained bioengineered food ingredients (which I didn't realize until I read the label at home). The reason I frequent the farmers market is to find fresh foods that don't have all the harmful ingredients in store bought items. I'm not sure if Herff Farms was aware or if they have a screening policy for vendors regarding this sort of thing but it did make me wary of returning...

I ❤ this market, both as a vendor (Wicks Studio Soy Candles) and a customer. This is a beautiful setting under the shade of grand oak trees. This is the perfect venue for shopping & meeting friends. I bought two dozen eggs from DOMIMON RANCH, but I was very sad. The eggs turned out to be crystal-like and inedible. I spoke to the manager on Saturday and he said he could either give me the $10 back, which seemed like he wanted to settle my feelings.
