I brought my Honda mower to this shop on March 29th for a recall repair, and unfortunately, the service experience left a lot to be desired.
Right from the beginning, I had to push just to get them to acknowledge that it was a recall issue—not just a warranty matter. They told me it would be checked in with Honda and estimated about 10 days for the process. However, after those 10 days passed, I called for an update and found out that no one had even looked at the mower or entered it into Honda’s system yet. I had to follow up multiple times before finally speaking with the store manager, who thankfully got the ball rolling.
After another week or so, I was told the mower was being worked on and might be finished that same day. I even received a text saying it was complete. But when I arrived to pick it up, the technician told me it still needed another day for the sealant to cure. I completely understand needing extra time for proper drying—but it was frustrating to get a pickup notice before the work was truly finished.
When I returned to pick it up on May 3rd, no one offered to help load it into my vehicle, which was a bit disappointing given the delay and confusion throughout the process.
To be clear, I actually like the retail side of this store—the staff inside are friendly, and they carry a solid selection of products. But the service department really needs to improve its communication, organization, and follow-through. I understand delays happen, especially during peak season, but basic steps like checking in equipment and providing accurate updates would go a long way.
If you’re considering bringing equipment here for service, just be prepared for a potentially long wait and the need to follow up...
Read moreWe shopped at the Feldman’s in Liberty last night, and bought several things on clearance that rang up 50% off of the green tag price. When we asked about it, the young man ringing us up said that they were having the sale all weekend. We specifically asked if it was just at this Feldman’s or at all 3 Feldman’s. He stated that it was all Feldman’s. This morning, we drove 40 minutes to the Bonner Springs Feldman’s, and had picked out A lot of green tag clearance and the total was $600. After paying, we didn’t even make it to the door and I was scanning the receipt. Nothing had rang up 50% off. We immediately turned around and told them that it didn’t ring up right. The manager came up, and we explained that we had just been to the Liberty Store and the green tags were 50% off. He seemed irritated and went to the back room, eventually said he “called the Liberty store, and they said they didn’t have a green tag sale” (implying that we were lying). I have the dang receipt from Liberty. We returned everything, but not before some punk assistant manager tells us that he is “doing us a favor by returning clearance merch, and next time that won’t happen”. Needless to say, there will NOT be a next time. The assistant manager was rude. If communication is that poor between the stores (they are all owned by the same company), we will not be giving them our business and we buy a LOT of farm supplies. It sure seems like a scam. The receipt below was from yesterday at Liberty, showing half off of...
Read moreThey place has the clothing so close together in spots you cant get a cart through it. If they are out of something dont plan on coming back in a few days, weeks and sometimes months before it is restocked. The set up on the Isles is ridiculous. There's no reason I should have to walk halfway across the dam store to get Midway in the next aisle over. You should have never done away with the center all down between them. They're constantly moving stuff around in the store so it might be in one spot one time the next time you come in at Sand completely different spot. I don't go to Feldman's except for a last resort and the only reason I would even go there as a last resort is because it's close to the house. It is one of the poorest ran farm and homes I have ever seen in my life. Tractor Supply is nothing like they used to be but they still at least keep their items stocked. I went in there just a year or two ago looking for some things for a tractor and in the cabinet that was locked there was 32 hooks that were empty because my grandson stood there and counted all the empty hooks. I was back in about a month later anyone over there and he counted 37 empty hooks. So in almost four to six weeks later they had still not restocked anything on the 32 Hooks and had five more empty that is not how you run a business. Like I said I don't go in there unless I...
