Rating this a 3 not because the views were bad, but because it was so small. Wife and I came with the kids as we are exploring different hiking regions in NJ and we thought we’d give this one a shot. We got there and the playground was great. The kids had a blast. As we kept walking further down we saw the incredible waterfall which all of us were in awe of. Nature really is beautiful. As we continued our little journey we saw some great views and even challenged ourselves to climb down close to the moving waters. We were having a blast until.... it was over. Read moreThis is the tale of 2 ends of the park. The entrance is grand and has so many great photo opportunities as you begin your walk along side the falls. All kinds of rock formations and awesome scenery. A bridge over the falls, small tunnels to explore off the path. Then you ultimately end up at the Boonton Recycling Center. Not before you pass some super old buildings and private property. You have to walk anothe 1/2 mile on the street before you reach main street again. If they could somehow make the end of the park like the entrance, they would hit a home run with this park. The falls are too impressive and deserve some...
