Boonton Farmers Market — Local services in Boonton

We waited all winter and were so happy for them to open back up.

Last year we found that the horseradish pickles at the pickle stand were to die for (I have been to 10 other farmers markets and never tried any that compared/you might want to prepare to cry from the spice "in a good way" depending on how strong they are that week). In my family we regularly fight over who ate too many pickles and usually need to get 2-3 large containers a week to keep up to demand.

We also got some soups which had excellent fresh flavors. Overall its a great place to stop. We only wish they were open more often, but its an amazing thing to look forward to every Saturday morning...

All the vendors were very nice today, especially the two empanada ladies that were situated by the swings. I forgot to get their names, but the empanada was delicious. Their empanadas are baked so the dough was flaky and flavourful. I hope they will continue to be...

Fantastic. Lots of options - fruits, veggies, meat, seafood, pickles, tea, heat and eat meals, beers and lots more. All that and a bunch of vendors had to leave bc of the crazy wind this morning. Definitely worth a trip down there. Make sure you hit up...
