Roma Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in Boonton

3 years ago my family had a Christening for my granddaughter in the Roma dining room which is available for events. The food and service was great and very reasonably priced. A plus is it’s byob which brings down the price.

After this event I stated using Roma for my Family holidays catering for 10- 15 people. Once again the food is great and they deliver hot and on time so there is no need for messy stenos or warming plates. They even deliver on Christmas Eve!

As for takeout and dinner besides pizza they are always expanding their menu. Their homemade meatballs, chicken arugula, eggplant franchisee, eggplant parmigiana, chicken piccata, cavatelli and broccoli, cavatelli, broccoli rabe and sausage, rice balls, clams oreganata, hot antipasto, soup and so much more are all delicious.

They are so much more than a pizzeria. They are also very accommodating. If you don’t see it on the menu just ask for it.

PROS: This place was like any ordinary pizzeria, however, it also had a restaurant section to it! The food was great as there was a lot to choose from and the prices were amazing. The young lady behind the counter was nice and even allowed me to pay for everything after I ate.

CONS: Since the place is located on the street there isn't that much parking. A lot of the workers were laying around which wasn't welcoming and the bathroom was cramped and beat up. There was also hardly any room in the pizza area (not the restaurant area) for you to sit at.

My husband and I are regulars, we order out at LEAST once a week, sometimes more 😬😬. First, we stuck to basics, I am Italian and do not generally order pasta etc from anywhere bc it’s not my mother’s gravy so I don’t care. But eventually we started ordering more items on the menu and let me tell you- never disappointed. Their salads are awesome, the pizza is the best in town in my opinion, their hot sandwiches are epic, their sautéed broccoli is even yummy. AND here’s the seller for me: pasta is ALWAYS better the second day.
