Nails look cute, price is fine (tips with polish $75). But I left with 2 visible cuts actively bleeding (pictures taken in my car immediately after I left salon). My fingers were cut in multiple places, with at least 6 cuts I’ve counted so far. My skin is still glued where the tip was attached on at least 2 fingers, so this hurts when I move my fingers. I didn’t notice this before I left because my fingers were in pain from the cuts and it didn’t occur to me that I had to check this before leaving. So 3 stars because I left with at least 6 cuts, 2 cuts actively bleeding, and skin glued to the nail tip but the polish job was good. I’ll remove the tips tomorrow at a different salon because the skin being glued to the nail hurts when I extend my fingers.

I haven't gotten my nails done since I was 15 years old and since prom is coming up I wanted to get a nice design that matched my dress. It was my first time coming to this place and I booked with Anna as I had seen many good reviews about her online. Off the bat everyone in the salon was very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was well-organized and clean. Anna was a fantastic technician. She made me feel very comfortable throughout my experience. I simply showed her a picture of what kind of design I wanted and she did an amazing job translating it to my nails. She was very precise with cleaning, prepping, and painting/designing and I could tell she really cared about how my nails would look. I'm really happy with the way they turned out!

If you’re looking for a new nail salon in the area… HERE IT IS! I don’t normally write reviews but I had to because I wish I found Obsession Nails sooner. I am SO picky with my nails and salons in general and I can’t say enough good things about this place! I moved to the area a year ago and have been going to a different salons but never left happy until I started coming here. I go to Lan for a gel mani and gel pedi but I have gotten my nails done by other techs here and they’re truly all great.

The salon is clean (unlike a lot of others in the area), it’s easy to make an appointments online, good prices, theres a parking lot and most importantly… EVERYONE THERE DOES GREAT WORK! You leave with your nails looking good and know they are going to actually last. It’s obvious they use higher quality products than other salons like the keratin hand mask (which they don’t charge you extra for like every other place does).

ALSO a big issue I had with other salons is that they all overbook or take too many walk-ins, so I REALLY APPRECIATE that Obsession Nails sticks to their schedules. Everytime I get there my nail tech is ready to do my nails and I’m not stuck waiting which is huge.

Another thing to point out is the great atmosphere at the salon. I normally hate getting my nails done because it feels like a chore but I always find it to be enjoyable when I go here. It’s professional yet laid back– if you want something just ask because they are super accommodating.

Again, I’m really not one to write reviews but I can’t say enough positive things about this salon– I’m truly suprised it isn’t busier than it is because its a GEM....

Seriously, I think I've FINALLY found my nail place in West Roxbury, Boston! You know how it is trying to find a good spot in Boston – it feels like there's a nail salon on every corner! Well, after trying a bunch for my gel manicures and gel pedicures, I can confidently say Obsession Nail Spa in West Roxbury is THE ONE for me. As a fellow massage therapist and esthetician based in Boston, my hands and nails are incredibly important – they're my livelihood and deserve the best care. What was I looking for? Impeccable cleanliness, convenient location in West Roxbury, and that the nail technicians actually love doing nails. Anna was such a gem! She really paid attention to every little thing, which I truly appreciate as a business owner myself who values that extra touch. She was so cool about my color changes (twice, oops!) and took her time to ensure my gel manicure and gel pedicure looked absolutely perfect. This place is way more than just a regular nail salon. They treat you to a truly relaxing experience! Think luxurious paraffin dips, soothing hot stones, and comforting warm towels during my gel pedicure – I left feeling like I'd just had a full spa day for my hands and feet, and I'm already planning my next visit for both! Anna was amazing, and honestly, I bet everyone there is just as skilled. This isn't just a nail place; it's a real, top-notch nail spa right here in West Roxbury that understands the importance of quality, something I prioritize in my own profession serving the Boston area. I'll definitely be snapping some high-quality pics next time I'm there to showcase their...

Great experience UNTIL the last 30 minutes. I got a DIP manicure and at the end of it she went and put a GEL top coat. Once I saw her taking out the uv light I simply asked for the DIP top coat as from previous experience the gel top coat cracks and peels off. Another lady who appeared to be the manager or owner came over and told me I was wrong and it never happens as I continued to explain that I wanted a DIP top coat because I was getting a DIP manicure and my previous experience she still continued to tell me that gel was the right one. She began to yell at the lady doing my nails in a different language. I was extremely uncomfortable and to settle everything down I agreed to just do the gel. The manager then went back to her customer where she began to talk about me and how I was wrong and that she has no idea what I am talking about and there are never any issues. Within 5 minutes of leaving the salon my nails started to peel, I went back to the salon and spoke to the manager where she then said “what did you do to your nails” “why are they peeling already” as I had already explained to her this is what happens when you put GEL polish on DIP. She again continued to talk about me with her other customer and with another nail technician. In order to fix my nails they put GEL base and GEL top coat...but I paid $60 for a DIP manicure. What I thought was going to be a good experience turned into a nightmare as when I went home my nails CONTINUED to peel. They are overpriced and unprofessional and made my experience extremely uncomfortable. Business 101 - give the customer...
