Pine Tree Preserve — Attraction in Boston

Service was acceptable but slow. We needed to request bread and butter but it made no difference because the bread was cold and tasteless and the butter had no taste. I ordered the beef stroganof per the recommendation of the waitress but the kitchen claims they ran out. I guess they don't make it to order despite the high price. So I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was nothing exceptional and the fries were commercial. I also ordered corn chowder which had no taste of corn and tasted mostly of flour . My guest ordered a ceasar salad which contained brown lettuce leaves and what tasted like commercial dressing. He ordered a half sandwich of grilled chicken but was served a lot of mayonnaise with some chicken. He returned it and asked for the steak sandwich which was reheated and served well done.
