The Winged Figures of the Republic — Attraction in Boulder City

The sculpture's currently getting a face-lift, but you can still see it. You just can't get close because there are construction fences blocking it off.

The plaza can be found directly across from the main Visitor Center and Museum. The bronze statue and plaza were completed in December of 1937 and was dedicated to this engineering marvel and the people who lost their lives build this dam. Beautiful and majestic. An neat and unexpected part of the Hoover Dam experience. The statues are part of a bigger commemorative monument, and a recorded “guide” provides the backstory. These are cool art deco statues. If you see the dam without a tour this is a good spot to read about how it was all built. You can take some good pictures too.
