Probably one of the prettiest parks around the Las Vegas valley is actually in Boulder City, Nv! #parks #veteransmemorialparks #bouldercitynv #lasvegastiktok #hendersonnv

This is a relaxing place to visit. You can sit quietly,go for a walk around the ponds, sit on one of the many benches along your way. Bring children to the playground, walk in the trees… I have never been to a park with so many workers. These people were the paid workers, not volunteers. They were not working so much and I must say that none of them were friendly or said hello. I personally feel this would be quite the place to work, yet they surely didn’t seem happy. Other than seeing so many of them walking around doing not much of anything this place is beautiful to visit. ( The weather was cloudy , cool and very pleasant in case you are thinking that the work people were out working in the heat. This was not the case)

My experience with the check in clerk by the name of ZION. IT WAS TERRIBLE!!! I literally waited until we checked out to post this because I take businesses/ companies very serious when I'm spending my hard earned MONEY. THIS human was so unprofessional to say the least about him without going too far. He literally after charging us full price for a double room suite. He tells us after we went inside the room and discovered it was only a king size bedroom. He tells us after we took the long walk back to the front desk with out heavy luggage at 1:40 am that he gave our room away. Because we was late checking in and well its Vegas. We was so exhausted from the drive mind you we also confirmed our room days before. This man was very nasty and his disposition was so terrible I had to stop talking to him. Not only did you bill us for something you don't even have available without informing us....you have the nerve to get disrespectful to the degree I felt we wouldn't have a place to sleep. He was terrible and very unprofessional and should never ever deal with customers at no time. He also made us wait claiming he was in the middle of an audit for 15 minutes. We'll never spend our hard earned cash again here period. And it's not cheap by any means. He ruined the trip before it could start. I dislike people who have no authority over nothing but act as if they own the establishment knowing fully well the owners don't know you're a horrible at...

I come here every day with my dogs we walk around the whole park. We love it. I wish they would put in a duck crossing sign to encourage people to respect the ducks crossing the road. People speed through the park at like 45mph like theyre so important in a crazy rush at the park lol, even though its 10mph and dont even stop for the ducks crossing the road.I even saw an official BC city prius do it. Even the old people blast right through the ducks, its really weird. Where I grew up by the beach in Massachusetts we had duck crossing signs and main road traffic would stop for them. It was cute and sweet. Nobody ever complained ever because it was a part of the town pride to be kind to the local animals and everyone knew about it. Wish BC would set an example and class it up a little. Ive never seen one car stop for them, they speed right through causing the ducks to have to fly up they are not swift animals and get upset when they get seperated its very odd that theres no community-wide held respect for the wildlife...

Very beautiful facilities and well manicured park. The cypress trees are plentiful, wrapped immaculately and perfectly flat on top. Sorry I forgot to include their photos. Doug was wonderful and helpful and it’s amazing that there’s only a handful of guys to take care of this huge landscape facility. It’s government funded to the state so we are fortunate to have a Veterans Memorial Park it’s so beautiful. Being a vet myself several memories posted of Vietnam brought tears to my eyes knowing how blessed I was to come back alive from at all. It still bothers me knowing that 60,000 of our brothers and sisters in the military lost their allies to it seems to me as in needless political endeavor.

Thanks for remembering those that served although all those names carved in stone out there Or hard to swallow because of the memories of adversity I experienced but thank God they are remembered.

Jesus Cares say your...
