Sharkfin Cone and Abandoned Pier in Davenport are not too far from each other. I visited Davenport today.(June/30/20). it was very busy, since COVID-19 cause most of the beaches in Santa Cruz closed. It is finally open back. I was stopped at Abandoned Pier first. It was easy to find parking, It is no fee for parking, but be careful don’t leave anything in the car. I had to walked past the railroad tracks to get there. There is usually a rope to help you traverse on down. It is amazing view of the old pier and the ocean. There is the swing, that was fun and hot spot for many memorable pictures. At Sharkfin Cone I had to climbed down too, but it was much easier. There are a lot of beautiful vantage points. There is a little cave. Cave of Wonders. The views of the cliffs are amazing, it was reminded me of highway 1 up North. This is one great place to get a photographic masterpiece. It is powerful gift from nature. Absolutely stunning. I definitely want to come back again.( nude beach...

One of my favorite beaches to come to in the Santa Cruz area. The one downside I would add to this beach is that it may be a little difficult to get down to the actual beach from the parking they supply if you have a baby or pets. The downsides of the beach stop there however.

It's a great secluded beach that won't have any supervision which can be a hazard if you don't know how to swim, but it's a great place if you want to hang out with your friends and don't want to be distubed by people.

The people you will typically see here are people that are around the age of college students, bringing speakers and coolers with beverages. You won't have to worry about families and little children being present so that is a plus if you are expecting...
