Floating is supposed to be a relaxing experience but the management here makes it anything but that. This all started about a year ago for Christmas. My fiancé bought me a gift card to float. I was very excited! After about 2 months of calling and sending emails they finally responded to me to be able to book an appointment. They were closed for relocation at this time, but all advertisement implied you could still contact them. They had no problem responding when you want to buy something from them, but they wouldn’t respond when I tried to redeem what we bought! During this frustrating time, my fiancé left a review directly on their website of our frustrations - well they deleted it. So don’t trust the reviews on their website as they aren’t genuine because they pick and chose which ones they would like on there. We were finally able to float in April of 2018. The tanks are nice and it’s a clean facility. They marked us down as a no show, but I guess it doesn’t matter because we were able to float. It just gives you a glimpse of their business skills. While we were there they insured us they had us in their files and we no longer needed to keep our gift cards and that we have 2 more floats. We then went back about a few months later in December of 2018. Guess what - they had no record of us! After writing in to management, since the manager would not answer the phone while we are at the facility. we are having trouble getting all of our questions answered. They respond many days later and don’t respond to the entire email. This has been such a head ache. They will not confirm that we have another session left. I’m still waiting for a response to an email I sent last week. There are many more options to float, so make sure you chose somewhere that will give you the full relaxing experience. Also, the fact that they can’t even update their address and phone number online after having moved a year ago tells you exactly how they...
Read moreI am lucky enough to have floated in all kinds of great float centers in different cities, but Isolate is one of the best. I drive 30+ minutes from Longmont twice a month because their facility is the best! First of all, it’s always very clean. That is most important to me - it’s impossible to relax and get the full benefit of your float if you’re concerned about the cleanliness of the tank or the room it’s in. My favorite is to use one of the Pro Float cabins they have available. I’m not claustrophobic in any way, but it’s so nice to be able to spread out in there! If you are fearful of being closed into a dark tank, you should still try one of these cabins. When the lights are off and you are just peacefully floating there you don’t even know how big or small the tank is.
The staff at Isolate are wonderful and they are always helpful when I have a question about my membership.
Floating for me is more helpful than all the massages and other things I have tried over the years. It helps me balance my brain and rejuvenate my body. We are business owners, so I can’t completely avoid all the stress and screen time during the week, even though I wish I could. I float twice a month and after each session I feel better prepared to face everything life will throw at me. All my aches and pains feel better during and after the float as well. I feel that relief for at least a couple days after, sometimes more. But if you are like me and maybe lived life a little too hard when you were younger (hello 12 years of playing Rugby), even a few days of not feeling those old injuries makes a huge difference in your mood and your general wellbeing.
If you are on the fence about floating - try it! And floating at Isolate is a great...
Read moreI’m sitting in the parking lot typing this review because my experience at isolate was so positive. I’m going through a highly stressful time in my life and have been focusing on some self-care. A friend of mine recommended a saltwater float, which I had never heard of before. So I just googled the place and happened upon this one. It’s a very unpretentious and humble place, which I love. I was greeted by Karen who was so sweet and friendly and made me feel immediately comfortable. She showed me the salt float pod and even offered me the larger one if I had wanted it because it wasn’t being used. I chose the small one. She showed me how everything worked and told me to take my time and not worry Too much about The time limits because it was a bit slow today. I floated for exactly 90 minutes Without even checking the time once. It was such a great experience, and I came out out of the pod feeling So relaxed. I had some time between my soak and my massage so Karen had me lie in the red light therapy bed while I waited. Then I had my massage with Alison and it was also perfect. She found muscles in my shoulders that I didn’t even know needed relaxing.
I accomplished everything I hoped for today In terms of feeling more tranquil and ready to move forward. I’m eager to tell my friends and family about it and encourage them to come here! There may be fancier places that probably cost more but I will continue to come back here because of the kindness...
