This is a great park to visit with family and friends!! Lots of fun things to do here. There's a cornhole area with everything needed to play ( dif. colored sandbags neatly stored in a closed box to keep the bags in good condition). There is an outdoor workout area with the fake grass turf underneath it ( this area used to be covered over nicely also, but I think after the hurricane last season the covering was removed??) There is a large soccer field neatly and regularly maintained, a very large disc golf course, there is a nice walking/bike trail. Another great thing here is the volleyball area with sand (they keep it clean and maintained nicely also) and two nets for two games that can be in play at once. They are currently adding a splash pad for the kids. Restrooms and water fountains are always open at the covered area containing I think 6 covered picnic benches. Me and my kids love going here to play in all the different areas. I would have given it a five-star review except shortly after the playground was installed I noticed a lot of the bolts holding parts of it together were on the ground and also a good amount of them were not tightened as if they put them in place and were intending on going back and tighten them but missed a few. Another thing is the zip line swings, for some reason there is one out of the two missing... did it get stolen, broken, or removed?? My kids loved being pushed on the zip line swing but after a few months or maybe a year, it was missing. 🤔🤔 Walmart is right across the street, convenient for gathering stuff for a picnic. All in all it's a great place to spend time and have fun! Highly...
Read moreIf I could give a negative star I would. I rented the pavilion for my son’s 1st birthday party and it was absolutely disgusting. Upon arriving an hour before the birthday the pavilion was occupied. I kindly asked those who were sitting to leave so we could set up. There was one party there that decided to ignore us and not leave at all. We continued to set up and have the party anyway. The bathroom doors were propped open because the smell was so awful inside. The trash was swarming with bees which made it hard to set any food up and one of the people in my party is highly allergic to bees. Also there were bees swarming underneath the rope crawl on the actual playground. The pavilion itself was so gross. The entire experience was awful and we ended up ending the party early due to these conditions.
I am very dissatisfied and disappointed in the conditions of the pavilion/park and emailed them the next day to ask that we be refunded the price we paid for the rental and no one every responded to me. Also note, I emailed the email that sent me my confirmation and in the email it stated if I had any questions or concerns to respond back to the email. I finally got around to calling and they denied me a refund because it was almost a month ago.
I will never rent this pavilion again and am really disappointed that they couldn’t even reconcile it with refunding me the cost paid to rent it....
