“An adjoining room is two guest rooms that are located next to each other and are connected by a locked door between them. Definition above…
I called Saturday morning to verify they had adjoining room and they said they did, 113 and 114 but they were on the lake and would be an additional charge. Since this was for my wife’s Birthday and I had 3 couple driving in I agreed to it and paid for the rooms
Upon arriving at the room we discovered they were not adjoining rooms and your Hotel does not even have what your entire industry knows as adjoining rooms. I was told “Oh they were are to each other..sorry.”
I was not happy and explained to Crystal what adjoining rooms were to only be met with a completely befuddled look and a oh sorry about that I had no choice but to accept the rooms.
We tried to make the best of it since the rooms were not adjoined and even though it was very inconvenient and there were others choices I could have made that had and knew what adjoining rooms were it was too late to change.
Things were not the way we had all hoped but we managed to celebrate the birthday anyway.
Things got worse the next morning when one of the my guests decided to use the restroom and after only urinating in the toilet it completely overflowed the bathroom. A call to the desk was met with little concern and absolutely no urgency. You are my first contact regarding the very disappointing experience at your Hotel. I have spent well less than the $300.00 dollar I spent at your Hotel and had considerably better treatment and stays, I have spent equal to that amount in the past at other Hotels I have been afforded a much more professional and enjoyable visit.

I really want to give this Quality Inn hotel in Bradenton, FL (FL527) an outstanding rating because my room was fine, there were no major issues. However, immediately after checking out, I had such a very degrading experience while talking with my cousins in the breakfast area of the lobby.
This past weekend, I was a guest panelist for an event located in the city of Bradenton along with several of my family members who were guest of honor. As part of our accommodations we were booked rooms at this hotel. While we were saying our last minute goodbyes and brief conversation we were taken back by the desk clerk’s manner of speaking to us. At the time of the interruption, my cousins was sharing with us how he overcame in life a lot and he wrote a song commemorating his victory. So, proudly he played the song that he wrote on his on his android cell phone. He played at a respectable volume so I could hear the lyrics. Note there were no other guest in the area. None! So, maybe about a minute into the song the clerk yelled from behind the desk for us to “get out, leave.” He further stated “why don’t you go back to our room and talk and play your music.” Readers, I want to tell you that we were not loud or disrespectful in anyway and were enjoying a normal conversation and we have may have laughed some because we all share collectively good sense of humor. Moreover, when my cousin played the song that he wrote it had no profanity and it wasn’t loud but obviously it was something that disturb the clerk. Because he mention that he was on the phone. Folk, humbly if we disturbed the clerk we felt the clerk should just simply say or gestured, “Excuse me, could you please turn it down.” But instead, he took the role of taking an authoritative approach instead of a polite approach for something that could be simple to requested. I remember telling the clerk “Sir, please, we’re sorry but we are good guys” repeatedly because I wanted him to bring his feeling of being irritated by our presence down because he harbored a very negative disposition towards us. My cousins and I disappointedly departed and left through the front door and went out to the parking lot to give each other our last hugs and departing salutations but you can tell that the encounter sadden us. But we encourage each other to stand strong and stand proud and that we’re going to continue to possibly encounter moments like this but it’s unfortunate.
As for my family members who experience this, I’m so proud of them because despite being talked to that way they they maintain their dignity and respect and still answered the gentleman with a title of “sir”despite his lack of professionalism and customer service.
So, if you patronize this hotel please be forewarned there’s a older gentleman at the front counter with a heavy south Asian accent that demonstrates unprofessional behavior and will possibly approach you and your party as if you are a second...
