I can hardly believe this place was so BAD ! Got there at 8:35 AM hardly anyone in the place. Less than 5 tables. That should have been our first clue. Out of coffee ! ! ? I'll have it to you in 45 seconds said the manager. 8-10 minutes later after our server asked if anyone had taken our "drink order" I told her yes but we were waiting for coffee. Shortly after the manager was verbally abusing a employee who had just walked in, I asked him about our coffee. He brought it poured my mom a cup and me less than half a cup. I said that I didn't need cream he left hastily only to go hang out in the back of the room. I made sure to order my eggs over medium so that our server understood "no runny whites" I got just that cold runny eggs on a cold plate. Cool pancakes on a cold plate with half frozen butter. At least the sausage was hot and tasty. Mom's waffle was so cold it would not melt the butter. When our server came back I showed her my eggs and she grabbed them of the table before we could tell her the rest of the issue. She soon returned with more eggs. By then the rest of my breakfast was cold and mom's waffle was pushed aside. My Mom told her the plates were "stone cold" and so was he breakfast. she said we don't have warm plates here. While all this was going on more employees were coming in the main entrance wearing yesterdays dirty aprons. One lady was fixing her hair at the server station and then went and got a customers food. So in the end two sub-standard breakfasts for $25 bucks.Could have got better at 7-11 or McDonald's for a quarter of that. I will never return to this place again! Zero Stars and a report to the Manatee County Health Department. Train your people or close shop ! UPDATE: I was contacted by the store manager she ask us to please try again she even sent us a card to get our meals covered. Same cold food on cold plates. They at least had coffee this time. Our server was AWOL....
Read moreThey tried to cheat us out of kids eat free, even though we read the footnotes and met all criteria for the kids eat free deal. First, they said it was only for lunch/dinners like hamburgers, chicken, mac-cheese.. Then we showed them the menu and the poster in the room that showed kids breakfast as part of the deal. Then they said no minions breakfast. Once again, we pointed to the same menu and poster that specifically included the Minions breakfast as part of kids eat free deal. My adult omelette was about 2/3 the size as usual - still hungry after I finished this undercooked omelette that had bacon bits which upset me because I am a vegetarian. They refused to rectify this. Then my oldest son who ordered an adult pancake entree got kids sized pancakes. The waitress apologized and offered a side of eggs for free to make up for it. But then she charged us over $3 for the side anyways. I asked to talk to the manager but she said the manager was not there and that there was no manager on duty. After debating this for 30 minutes, she and the other waiter finally agreed to waive 2 kids meals but we had 3 adult meals, so 3 kida meals should have been waived. I reported this to IHOP headquarters online and am hoping they would alleviate this scandalous issue. No drink refills either. We all got much smaller food portions than from all other IHOP restaurants we have been to...
Read moreI meet my girlfriends here each Tuesday for some good, clean, godly girl time. Since we come every week, the wait staff knows us pretty well and has our drink orders down pat. As soon as we come in and sit down they bring them to the table. Once everyone has arrived they are right there ready to take our orders.
Since we're all over the senior age limit, we usually order off the senior menu -the Rise & Shine, which consists of 2 eggs, hash browns (or crispy potatoes), meat (plant based sausage for me), & bread (grilled biscuit for me) for $6.59... I think it's 0.59 at least.
IHOP has their Pan Coins which are their Loyalty points, or some people would say their own currency. You get so many Pan Coins for each dollar you spend and then you can trade them in for food. For example, right now 15 Pan Coins will get you a breakfast burrito, and their Classic Breakfast Burrito (no meat) is super delicious! They stuff it full of scrambled eggs and hashbrowns (and bacon or sausage if you want), and you get 2 pancakes, hashbrowns, fries, or fruit on the side. Now the classic burrito comes with salsa and is a meal by itself. As far as I'm concerned, their pancakes are very good and the two pancakes you get with the burrito make a perfect lunch or breakfast the next day. I like meals that save you money by being two meals in one without actually...
