This water tower is a historic, iconic part of Brainerd. It needs some major maintenance and repairs. I have made awareness videos calling for action to “save the Brainerd water tower” and there are also fundraisers around town to help the cause! If anyone is interested or able, please feel free to donate to the City of Brainerd to help restore the beautiful castle of Brainerd!

Promoting World Peace at The Brainerd Water Tower is one of my pastimes, so I am here quite frequently. Although I don't have the funding to SAVE The Brainerd Water Tower, I would if I could in a heartbeat!

Description
The Brainerd Water Tower is located at Sixth and Washington in Brainerd in the U.S. state of Minnesota. Built in 1918, it was the first all-concrete elevated tank used by a municipality in the United States; even though it was replaced in 1960, it remains standing as an icon of the town.
