The museum does a fantastic job presenting the rich history of the city of Brainerd and the majestic north woods and Brainerd lakes area. After a few hours in the museum contemplating Brainerd's fascinating past, it really hits home what an empty and soulless...

Extremely interesting museum. Very well maintained. Sorry we hadn't gone here before. Conveniently located in downtown area. Easy park and you can move on to downtown areas. We strongly suggest going to visit. Not too buzzy....
