Please be aware when dealing with this tour company. I made a reservation over the phone for a Sunday morning swamp tour for two people. I spoke with Brain whom made my reservation. During the call he asked for a credit card to hold my reservation then was told to bring cash when we arrived for the tour. However I wasn't able to make the tour. And my credit card was still charged. Although I did not attend the tour. I had gotten stuck in traffic due to an accident on our way to Louisiana. I did not call & call because it was already late when we ran into the accident. Brain did call me in the morning & I spoke with him telling him we weren't going to make it. During this call he never informed that my card was still going to be charged. He simply said, "Okay, We're sorry you couldn't make it." Then when i saw the charge I called them to ask for a refund & Brain was just a rude, pathetic man whom kept arguing with me saying "that he was out that money & he could filled those two spots had I called to inform them" Again I told him it was late at night, how was I supposed to know his business was open late. My tour time was at 9am the first tour slot & on a Sunday. I know our two spots wouldn't of been filled regardless. Again I did not attend, there is no information on their website about still being charged & when I spoke with Brain he did not inform me. They committed fraud & have filed a report. I was told my credit card was only to hold my spot. Nothing more....

Read moreWe stopped in Louisiana for a few days on a family trip to Florida. Decided to all go on a swamp tour today- 8 of us (two grandparents, 4 adults and 2 kids age 9yo and 2yo). To start off- the lady at the desk holds the place up! I believe her name was Miss Pam. She was answering back-to-back phone calls (and answering the same questions just about every phone call lol), tending the register AND interacting with customers with a building full of noise and people. Her attitude was so genuine and sweet and upbeat. I really enjoyed my interactions with her and I hope to return and see her again one summer. She is one of those people you can just tell they have a heart of gold! Our guide was Jimmy - he was a hoot! Very knowledgeable with experience doing tours, really nice and mindful of the kiddos on the boat, and really cared about giving us a good experience / educating us on different things from birds to trees to gators. I want to return one year after August so we can see the bird sanctuary and the more baby alligators🤞🏼. The place was the best bang for your buck. One of the cheaper priced swamp tours and you get a building with a few refreshments available for purchase, some toys available to purchase for the kids, a bathroom, baby alligators in a nice aquarium, and a cute cat hanging out in a chair. The boats have shade so although it’s hot, the ride was very comfortable. Definitely glad we picked this place. VERY...
