I do not recommend going here for piercings especially with Matthew. If I could give this a -10 star I would. To start I came here for a helix piercing January 6th. When me and my sister first walked into the shop, Matthew had a slight attitude, but I wasn’t sure if that was intentional or just his personality. Either way do better. Immediately after he pierced my ear, my ear started to feel hot.. Then, when he was piercing my sisters ear he had to redo it about 3 times with blood squirting out of her ear. Very disturbing….and seemed as though he didn’t really know what he was doing. After he finished both of our piercings, I was told to keep cleaning my piercing (which I did follow the instructions given to me verbally before I left the shop). But the following day or 2, my ear started to swell abnormally even with keeping up with the saline sprays and icing it throughout the day to bring the swelling down. My ear continued to swell day by day worsening even with contacting Matthew for advice to fix this as I wasn’t sure if my ear was rejecting the piercing or an infection. I came in about 4 days later so that Matthew could check on my swollen piercing and he’d said switching to a longer bar should help with this. When he did this procedure is probably what made my ear worsen into an infection. My ear continued to swell abnormally the next few days causing me headaches and lots of pain/discomfort to the point where I had to go to urgent care to see what was going on. I then was told by the doctor to remove the piercing because the swelling/infection was that bad. I contacted Matthew about this as well and I didn’t get a response. Very unprofessional. I have now been on antibiotics because of this piercing almost 2 weeks…. Still in lots of pain. Please do yourself some due diligence and don’t get piercings by Matthew. Stick to your specialty.. tattoos. And please work on your sanitation skills.This...

I wish I could speak to their work since I did a lot of research before choosing these guys, but I can't because they never showed up to open the shop when they were supposed to. I called a few times throughout the week to schedule an appointment but they never answered the phone. Figured they were just busy, so I made the drive over last Saturday (about 35 minutes one way) and got there at 1pm since their Google listing states they open at noon. The place was closed. I went on their website and saw they actually opened at 2pm. Google listings are sometimes incorrect, no big deal, so I ran some errands and came back right before 2pm and sat there until almost 2:30pm. Nobody ever showed up. Three other people came, waited a while, then left, too. There was no sign on the door, and nothing on their website or social media saying they'd be closed. One of the people who drove up while I was waiting said he had the owners direct number and even the owner was being unresponsive. I understand things happen, but there are multiple people who supposedly work here, so why none of them showed up to open is beyond me. I ended up going to another shop not too far away who said I wasn't the first person to say that 7 Day has been unreliable recently. Not only are the owners absolutely AMAZING, but they have some of the best people on staff here. I came in and got my eyebrows micro-bladed by the talented Jamie. She did such an incredible job. Not only was the work space up to my standards (you'll understand if you take a sanitation class) the whole shop was. Jamie walked me through the steps before anything and really took her time making sure that my brows were just the way that I wanted them. She truly cares not only about her clients but also about her work and it shows. My brows turned out even better than I could have imagined. It was fun even going back in for my touch-up. Jamie is world class when it comes to micro-blading. I know many people in the beauty industry that "specialize" in micro-blading and after hours and hours of studying people's work, Jamie's is still the best and I would not go to another shop or to anyone else!
