Nice park for the area it's in.... not the best surrounding area, but the park itself is nice. One of the biggest parks around Kitsap.. nice, green, well maintained landscaping, plenty spots for picnicking/BBQ'ing, etc.... various playgrounds n stuff for the kids to do/play on and be entertained.. plenty room to walk/run the entirety.. oh n you can't forget about the view.... day or night... it's a pretty great view of the water and city across the way. Also, a great place for a gathering of any kind. Did I mention there's multiple full size baseball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, n plenty of space for any sort of sports for the whole team.. All in all, I'd say it's one of the best parks in kitsap on many levels, the only missing, in my opinion, are walking trails in the woods, there is a huge walking path along the entire outer edge of the park tho.. If you wanna play sports, get outside and play, have a get together, walk your dog (on a leash..), bring the kids out to play on the playgrounds, watch the water, walk along the beach, just relax, or whatever you want to do, Lyons Field and Parks is a great place to do so.. highly...

They are one of my favorite public parks, they have covered picnic areas for events, waterfront access, boat launch, bathrooms cleaned daily, a play area for children ranging in age so you bring little ones and active rowdy early teens, outlet plugs, ballfield, sidewalks that loop around almost entire park for those that like to walk, jog, or push little one in stroller, dog friendly(no off leash, leash law enforced but not strictly if dogs is well minded, "trained" and "responds well and does as instructed, and minds to himself unless invited, you can walk off leash and not worry.. people go fishing, have events, parties, kick back of the big lush green grass field, it's comfortable, easy going, and lots to do.. and they have been super tolerant and understanding my vehicle with problems and not easily mobile they have let me stay a night or 2 otherwise park closes at dusk.. I think I covered most of everything.. that...

🎾🏀🐕‍🦺⚾🏃 This is Lions Park in Bremerton, a 17-acre community park with tennis and basketball courts, beaches, walking paths, a baseball field, playgrounds, picnic areas, restrooms, and benches. It's beautiful this time of year! You might even be lucky enough to spot an orca pod while walking along the beach. Kitsap County has wonderful parks and recreation. #Bremerton #BremertonWA #LionsPark #BremertonRealEstate #Kitsap #KitsapRealEstate #KitsapCounty #KitsapCountyRealEstate #KitsapPeninsula #KitsapRealtor #SellingKitsap #KitsapLife

Really lovely park for all ages. There are play fields, picnic shelters, paved walkways, lots of park benches throughout the park. The playground is small but well spread out, with a great climbing frame, zipline, slides and climbing rocks for the kids to play on. And so much parking - we saw 3 parking lots spread along the length of the park. Best of all, the park is waterside, which is so pretty and peaceful to just sit and chill. I can imagine this is a pretty popular park in the Summer as there are lots of grassy areas to spread a blanket and have a picnic. We'll definitely revisit the park next time we're in Bremerton!

all around great park for so many reasons. waterfront that has plenty of flora that is incredibly rich to what is in the area. plenty of wildlife. have seen whales, otters, eagles, geese, ducks and crustaceans and shelled things. pretty private if you want it to be. plenty of places that are tucked away for private moments. but very easy to run into people with a lot of foot traffic. there’s a cult trying to take over the tennis ball courts. many remain to hold control though. plenty of room to frolic around. plenty of cute spots to lay a blanket down. with walking along to see the connected parks.
