It's a gorgeous park with various things to enjoy! You can hike a long and peaceful trail. Sit by the pond, fish in the river, throw a bday party in the gazebo, take your children to the pretty big park with a cool water park for hot days. How about some baseball, soccer, football, basketball?! Theres a feild & a court..a couple in fact. Theres a community pool and skateboard park. Even a dog park. Just a very enjoyable state park. Go see for yourself. I know i left out plenty more activities! This has been the place to hang since i was 10 years old !! Make it yours!!

This park is beautiful, my son and my dogs love everything about it except that there were no available bathrooms. We mainly go to hike and run the dogs, I want to note I am grateful to whomever left water bowls for the dogs at the dog park 💓. Apparently, from what other's at the kids park said, the main bathrooms are only open when sports are going on and with Covid that means they are closed. Port-a-pottys have been there before too I guess but not any of the times we have been there which makes it hard to stay for longer than 30ish mins with my son.

It's a great park for all ages. By the water park and pool that's open all summer, a pavilion with picnic tables lies under the shade. There is a small handicap park, with swings and a slide. A park for the little ones, that features easy climbing, rocking horses, and swings. The biggest playground contains a ''spider web'' net to climb, lots of slides, monkey bars, swings, ect. By the main entrance there is a skate park for bikes, scooters, skateboards, and even roller blades! Also there is a field for sports. You can take a walk with your dog by the lake, or take them to the dog park in the back. Go on a hike through the woods to get some time to yourself. The trail also contains a guided fitness course to get you back in shape. Every so often there is a concert on the green in the back. Rockwell is open all year, and in the summer ,not only does the ice cream man stop by, there are paddle boats on the lake. In my opinion, this park is great for everyone. No, I'm not someone trying to bribe you into going here, I am instead just a kid telling you that I enjoyed...

terrible for mountain biking. at first you go into the park and i couldn't even see the trails. second you go up the road and out of the park and their is a sign saying biking trail, running, i went further up the road and tried to do Valhalla and it just a bunch of ruts in the ground not easy riding. the other trail goes up to the back and before you know it your right in the middle of the Frisbee golf course i had no idea where to go. next i hear some one saying heads up since he was about to throw the Frisbee at my head and the net was next to me. also i tried to follow the sign saying cross country , Frisbee golf trail that takes you to the railroad tracks and a bunch of sand. thankfully i could just ride the path around the pond and the road was fine that's...

i use to love this park. went just about everyday to walk my dogs. but then all the people (and I use that word loosely) that bring their little grills and have a bbq leave so much trash on the ground and even in the water even though there are garbage cans for the trash, they just throw on the ground. i have seen dirty diapers and even human waste (even though there are outhouses) near the water. my husband and I use to bring a trash bag to pick up what we could but we decided to just stop going to the park. I go to burlington now where you hardly ever see trash everywhere along the water like you do in rockwell park. Oh and you have to love it when someone brings their boom box and blast it so you can hear it before you even get...
