A very nice (and old) park on the outskirts of Bristol, bordering the town of Terryville. Fact Check: Albert F. Rockwell donated this land / park to the city of Bristol in 1914, he was an inventer, manufacturer & public spirited citizen who contributed liberty to its development. His initiative & counsel were of great value in the civic and industrial life of Bristol. We've been hangin' out / visiting this park since the early 1980's! So much to do here, they have many baseball fields, volleyball courts, basketball courts, playgrounds, kiddie water pad, pool, Frisbee golfing, a dog park, many trails, excerise and calisthenics areas with boardwalks & nature trails, all along the pequabuck river. It's a very nice picturesque area to have lunch on any of the many tables surrounding the park, to walk your dog, or just take in nature on a nice...

I attended the Thanksgiving football game here this year and watched the two Bristol high school teams battle it out. Bristol Eastern’s Lincoln Bashaw was a one man highlight real playing on both sides of the ball. The game was played under the lights the Wednesday night before the holiday because of rain expected on Thanksgiving Day. Bristol Central was nearly upset, but got the win. It was a good game. This place is also a great place to watch a baseball game. I remember going here years ago to watch the Bristol Red Sox when they were the AA affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Jim Rice's number is still on display in the outfield...

Beautiful and stunning stadium that is well maintained and updated while keeping its original charm, like it’s original green color. The field is comparable to any MLB field, and is surrounded by these majestic pine trees. Stadium has amazing history, with Babe Ruth having played there and many hall of gamers from the Red Sox as it used to be the home of the Sox AA team. Has two concessions, theme nights, fireworks and fun activities for the kids during Blues games. All the while every seat is a good seat, and prices...

This is a great ballpark. The first ballfield I ever saw a game at. It was the old Bristol Red Sox and Jim Rice was rehabbing there. My father use to take me here and now I can take my son here. He loves to chase down foul balls in the neighbors yards and behind home plate, in the grass.
