Wonderful place to visit, beautiful beaches to walk on and the tidal pools are amazing if you go at low tide. Most amazing thing I have ever seen on the Oregon coast was a purple massive octopus that was crawling over rocks to get to the larger pools of water. It was so amazing to see it go from land to water and it was the most beautiful shades of light and dark purple. They also have lots of star fish, sea anemones and crabs.

Special tidepools. I saw animals there that I've never seen outside of the tropics. Two different types of tube worms, possibly a red colonial and a magnificent. I've only ever seen them snorkeling in coral reefs, but there they were in a little cave. I also found a stalk jelly and a tiny flounder totally camouflaged to the sand (can you see him?).

Stayed for a week in early October. This is one of the best campgrounds I've been to. Very beautiful, clean, quiet, not overly cramped and in a perfect location. You're a short walk or ride from Brookings which is a bonus. The beach is accessible by path or you can drive down to a small parking lot. The views are stunning.

I’ve been to a lot of beaches up and down the coast, but Harris Beach always stands out. We pulled in on a sunny but super windy day and the views still made it totally worth it. The beaches are beautiful, the rocks are crazy cool to look at, and it feels like you're right in the middle of nature while still being close to town. Parking can get tight depending on the time of day, but if you’re patient, it’s worth the short wait. Definitely one of the best stops in southern Oregon. Just bring a hoodie it gets...

This is a beautiful camp ground. However this review is about Trevor, whom is a parks employee. He was very rude and unhelpful. I’d say even a little aggressive. We stopped to use the dump station which we had an appointment for but (I guess) the receptionist didn’t write down the appointment. However his supervisor was extremely nice and understanding and let us dump and leave as we want. I would recommend camping here, I would have if it was open for camping (COVID) but it was not. It seems...
