Harris Beach State Park — Local services in Brookings

Decided to pull down and park to eat breakfast overlooking the beach. There were several people out, some were blowing bubbles, others set up for beach volleyball. It was going well until I went to the bathroom before we were gonna head out and some local came up and started yelling at my husband for parking in the spot next to him (even though it was the only spot when we pulled in). The man then proceeded to get naked in the parking lot, changing out of a wetsuit, while still mumbling under his breath about a 15 minute parking limit (there were no signs about a parking limit) even though he had been parked there way longer...

Great place to sea kayak! Even when the wind is 24 mph at Gold Beach, it is barely breezy here. Lots of fun trying to time it right to get through the tunnel. Also, excellent...
