Coggin Park — Attraction in Brownwood

My friends and I routinely visit Coggin Park, it's a great place to hang out often in an open space.

Pros: Generally is a safe place for kids to play. A good assortment of playground equipment, including; climbing areas, a playground for older and younger kids, a walking path complete with workout area.

Cons: Bathrooms; I've found pregnancy tests, spaghetti in the toilet, poop smeared on the wall; spelling out 'poop', remains of what looked to be a meth pipe. I'll save you the...

A great park for families of all sizes and people of all ages. Includes a smaller kids play area, an older kids play area, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts, a walking/jogging trail and restrooms. This is a great park for going for a walk, wheel chair friendly. There is a playground for little kids and one for bigger kids. Lots of seating area around the small kids area, less around the big kids area. There is shade but not that much. There are bathrooms, we didn't check them out.
