This place is a must stop! The petrified wood slabs are absolutely beautiful if you have $4000. But still worth seeing they even have petrified dinosaur poop so you need that my husband enjoyed a conversation with a man named Jack. That’s traveled the United States, his entire life collecting rocks. He has very cool stories if you have the time to listen to them. The rock shop is connected to a Mercantile, which has several other things like ice cream, treats, bakery, and more. The rock shop is two buildings full. They even have a geode cutting machine so you can pick your own geode rock and have them cut it for you so that’s a fun experience. Outside of the Mercantile and the rock shop there are fun little things to explore such as a fake jail made out of real metal and locks and picnic tables to eat at and funny little pictures that Vie you can take. After a long day at Bryce Canyon, I would definitely stop there for some ice cream and pick up a couple pretty rocks

Posted sign reads: No more warnings. Absolutely no cellphones in the store or kitchen. You will be sent home. If it's slow, you can go on the back porch, no longer than 5 minutes. Do you really want to lose the hours???? Cigarette breaks are to be taken on your 10 minute break time or lunch break. If it is slow, you can ask Linda if you can take a quick 5 minute cigarette break........ The shop is great, but I will not support a business who threatens to cut employee hours over mild infractions. A silly rock shop is no place for dictatorial power junkie.

Found this place on the way out of Bruce Canyon National Park. Saw the line and immediately thought it was a must try. Ordered the ice cream sandwich, it was only 2.50. Thought it was a steal of a price until I bit into it. I was not impressed at all. The cookie was too sweet and didn’t taste like a chocolate chip cookie. The ice cream had too much “ice” in it and not enough cream. This was my least favourite ice cream place I’ve visited over the years. It was not worth the calories.

We visited to grab some ice creams for our kids when we were visiting bryce canyon, and it ended up nightmare. My son is allergic to milk, so I asked them if they have any dairy free options, and they told me thier rainbow shorbet is dairy free. So we got that one for my son. I even asked her to get a new scooper and she did. However, as soon as my son took a bite, he told me he could tell it was not dairy free. We threw it right away after one bite, but we had to give him TWO Epipen for his allergy reaction. It was a total nightmare since there wasn't a hospital or ER nearby.. I am still very pissed about what...
