Today, I took the kids for a fun park day. My 6 year old niece had to use the bathroom. She went in and locked the door behind her. After she did her business, she was unable to unlock the door and was stuck in there for about an hour. After trying to find the ranger without avail. I called 911. They sent the fire department over to get her out. After several attempt, the ranger was contacted and had the key to open the door.To note, there were many people attempting to help keep her stay calm through the metal bolted door. It must also be noted that there were many complaints made to me about the door being this way for awhile. This includes both locals and the ranger herself. The door was locked after this occurrence, per the request of the fire department. It seems to me, that this issue should have been addressed prior to this incident since it is indeed a children's play area. My niece who was locked in the bathroom and her brothers outside the door were extremely scared and traumatized by this event. With that, I'm so grateful to the locals and the fire department for their due diligence. But, BHC, this should not be an issue. This was absolutely horrifying and uncalled for to these...

There is corn hole, tetherball, chess/checkers, volleyball, four square, twister, spin saucer, small rock climbing area, foosball, ping-pong, ladder golf, gaga ball, and triple shot basketball. Material can be purchased at The Human Bean across the street, or you can bring your own.
