Alliance Convention Center — Attraction in Burlington

Saw Josh Turner there Saturday, 5-31-25. Our 1st time at that venue & probably our last. While we had 4th row center seats, we were literally packed in there like sardines. If one stood-he dragged the 4 beside him up too, as seats were jammed right up against each other-leg to leg-elbow to elbow. Josh Turner & his band were great. The only redeeming quality was that we sat beside a young man (built like a football player) & his girlfriend. He had a beautiful voice, knew the words to every song & it was so nice to hear a young man join in singing "I Saw the Light." Only venue option for super large events held in Alamance County. It would be great to see someone bring in another competitive venue though as Alliance has room for improvement. Attended an event this month and guest parking lot was covered in mud. Several attendees’ cars were stuck and required assistance getting out. For the price community organizations have to pay to hold events, appears the owner/venue manager could spend some $ to add gravel to parking areas.
