Tech Wiz Repairs — Local services in Burlington

My kid needed his nintendo switch lite repaired the Left joycon was very lose and needed to be fixed or replaced.

I checked around locally and this shop came up seemed legit enough so my kid dropped off the switch cost was around 100$ didn't seem outrageous around 70 down front and they said it take around 2 weeks.

I waited the 2 weeks days go by 3 days actually I call the shop and I'm told they haven't started working on it and I'm told it's only been a week and he'd start it the coming Monday

Also I checked my phone records it was indeed 17 no big deal

A Week later I call and they still haven't even begun to work on it

So 24 plus days comes and I get a call at 5 pm it's ready finally

The Results they replaced a few missing part on the joycons and fixed the original problem and they claimed to have fixed both joycons

I Appreciate the extra steps but the same joycon is stiff and on the same side the L and LZ buttons are also stiff almost like they made it worse

If you choose this shop I'd say stay on top of them about how long things take i didn't expect a whole month of this and being lied to about it

Update the Left joycon is completely shot now it was the only thing that needed fixing.. wouldn't recommend switch repair stuff...

Got my phone back maybe about a month and half or 2 months ago. Told the guy I was leaving Burlington and that I needed the phone finished after a few days. So I'm not sure if he rushed the job or not. First thing I noticed upon receiving my phone was the poor job of him sealing the screen. Many screens as I have had repaired and the rubber sealant never was protruding out around the edges of the screen. But that I could deal with. 2nd, I noticed my finger print sensor no longer worked. I was pissed but I could deal with it. Now just yesterday, I'm guessing the poor sealing job has finally giving in and the screen is coming in and out whenever I press it and on top of that and what tops the cake is, the phone will not charge whenever you place in the charger and I lost all sound in the speaker. The price wasn't bad for the job. But the job was horrible. I have dropped the phone since receiving it but not enough to do all this. Now the same phone I used to write this review I will not have after it loses it battery cause it won't charge. And this is why I'm not quick to leave a review. Ridiculous.

Edit: the screen still works but I'm now noticing the whole bottom part of the screen is...

BUYER BEWARE! I came on June 17 with a couple of controllers and we discussed how we’d have them fixed, guy there told me it would take 1-2 weeks and seemed knowledgeable so I handed him the controllers, and was on my way back to Highpoint. I never received a call from him so I had to call just to check on things since I was never contacted for more than three weeks. He told me that he only does controllers when he has done doing other repairs and he hasn’t fixed them yet and it will be a while until he does. I asked him how long and he said this week. I called him today on Saturday and he told me it will be another while, while he does other repairs. He told me that he no longer does controller repair. I was bewildered. He told me to come pick them up if I don’t want to wait on god knows how long with him. I told him I live too far and he offered to ship it to me on my expense. Two trips from Highpoint and nothing fixed, just gas wasted. He doesn’t respect the time waited or...
