Gordon Food Service Store — Attraction in Burton

This is the worst Gordon’s I’ve ever been to. The workers all have really bad attitudes, and act like it’s an inconvenience to be there. I went in to pick up an order, the girl at the cash register looked right at me. No hello, we will be right with you, or any type of acknowledgement. They weren’t even busy. There was no one at her register, she was just standing there playing on her phone. After about 3/4 minutes I said, hi is someone working in this area? The girl said nothing, picked up the phone, and called for someone to come help me. This isn’t the first time that has happened. A worker will look at you, make eye contact, and completely ignore you. I’ve never once heard a thank you, have a nice day, absolutely nothing. It’s really sad because this used to be such a nice store. It has really changed over the past two years. Do better training your employees...

Thank you to the two ladies who went out of their way to look for the box of wing dings in the "back" because I couldn't find any in the cooler. I asked the nice cashier if she could please look in the back for the box of wings and she kindly said "sure" and went over to another nice lady, who was actually off of the clock at the time, who went and found the wings for me and was VERY kind about it and not upset or snotty about me asking this of her. Once again, I really appreciate the kindness and assistance ladies, especially since I've had other people take one look at me and instantly say "NO" to such requests! The store was also very clean and welcoming! Yay to good customer service and kindness...

I shop here very often for my business. I've noticed that the majority of employees have terrible customer service. And I've also noticed that the managers and people behind the customer service counter never greet or even say hello to customers. They try to avoid eye contact and if they do make eye contact they hurry up and look away like you're about to ask for a loan. Latest example..... I was checking out last week and asked the lady in produce for a price on a case of bananas. After about 2 minutes she walks back and shouts" it's 40 pounds" while staring me down. So I just said ok i want a case. She said I ain't got no cases I just put the last one out. Then mumbled something at me and...
