Karisma Hair Care — Local services in Burton

I have been going here since it opened. It's been several salons prior and it's conveniently located for me. My hair usually turns out fine, and I get my eyebrows done there, also normally fine. I hate to leave a negative review after having normally fine service, but overall it always seemed like there was at least one rude stylist or something off which never set right with me. And just recently I decided to try a different salon and my hair came out a million times better than my previous cuts (which were all pretty much the same like no big difference in style). They didn't do eyebrows though. So I went to karisma for that and there was only on stylist there, no customers, figured it would be fine. Needless to say, likely, my eyebrows wound up completely butchered because (and this is not the stylists fault entirely, more a company thing I think with the lack of staff) she had to continually step away to answer the phone and it, I think, distracted her. She let me go with no charge but honestly not sure I can trust the salon anymore. This is going to be a long lasting...

Maria at Karisma is top notch! She listens to what you want and makes sure you are comfortable with the cut, color etc before you leave. Her scalp massages are absolutely wonderful! Her salon is squeaky clean and that is hard to accomplish in a salon. I have been going to Maria for my haircut, color and eyebrow wax for years now. She is kind and cares about her clients. I highly recommend her salon and as a bonus she is bilingual and speaks English along with her...

Its is horrible. I called and made appointment at 12:30. I showed up and they said sorry we had a walk in. So she made an appointment for 1:45. I arrive and she decided to do highlights for a walk in and couldnt do my hair untill 2:45! Three appoints and i still didnt get my hair cut.
