If you're in the Calais area and want to see a movie without suffering the drive down the Airline to Bangor, this is your option. Not bad for a small town theater, the staff is friendly and they process the concession stand quickly. I was in Theater 1 and either the proximity to the janitorial closet or an overly zealous cleaning staff led to an unbearable odor of cleaning solutions that permeated the theater. It took a while to adjust to it. The screen is small (forgivable for the venue) but it's awkwardly high, creating a necessity to crane your neck for the front half of the seating area. Sound and screen quality were decent. I'm not in the area often but if I were to return for a movie I would ensure it wasn't the same screen; hopefully the smell doesn't penetrate...
