La Jolla Zip Zoom Ziplines — Attraction in California

Nice folks....good employees...safe and comfortable equipment...but the day we went the wind was blowing hard enough that they understandably closed the longest and highest line. Also we didn't do the shortest line they said because it was just a short line for practice(300 feet) and we didn't need it. We just did the two intermediate lines and they said they would refund $25 of the $99 price. So our tour was one hour instead of two. We asked if we could do the two lines twice each and they said they couldn't because there was another tour. They have two trucks but one is for maintenance. The normal tour is 2 hours or so and the bookings are one hour apart so what happens is that one group is doing the lower lines while the later group is doing the upper lines. So...why not have us do the first of the intermediate lines followed by the second of the intermediate lines twice while the following group was doing the first of the intermediate lines? We got back to the office in less than an hour so I believe they could have taken us to the second intermediate line and back to pick up the next tour, then pick us up at the bottom and repeated the process with the next tour. Our guides just said it wasn't their decision. By the way, this situation is not a surprise during even mild Santa Ana wind conditions but no one warns you about that. A little disappointing but they are still a little new (2 years I believe) and seem to have the best of intentions so I believe they will iron...

Avoid this place! After driving 2+ hours to get there we were told: "Sorry for the late notice, but we have to reschedule you."..... "Late notice"??? That's NO notice.

This was after having purchased tickets for the zipline weeks in advance. They could have called us at any point during the morning to let us know that there was an issue, but waited until we had literally just arrived to let us know in person.

We were told: "The girl that was scheduled today had a funeral to attend and the other girl isn't picking up" Sorry for her lost, but as a business it's your responsibility to reach out to customers if there is a issue that would cause a cancellation like this... And not wait until they have arrived for their reservation to inform them.

On another note. There was another group (5 or 6 people) that arrived about the same time as us. They didn't seem to have been told or be under the impression that the zipline was closed. Weird. Not sure what was going on there. Maybe we got cancelled so someone's friends could zipline? Something sus was definitely going on.

They offered to reschedule us for another day. No thanks.

The vibes given off by the employees were shady and unprofessional at best. Not the kind of people you want to trust your physical well-being and life with.

Avoid this unprofessional, poorly managed place. Save your time, money and possible health....

Such a great time! I did the zip line with my sister and my teen daughters. Just completed the most exhilarating zip line tour of my life! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely safe and welcome. Our guides, Quinn and the twins, were incredibly kind and made us feel safe and secure!

The tour consisted of 3 zip lines.The equipment was top-notch and clearly well-maintained - safety was obviously their top priority. After a thorough safety briefing even the most nervous members of our group felt confident.

The guides were fantastic - encouraging when needed, informative throughout, and clearly passionate about what they do. They took great photos of our group that we could purchase afterward, capturing memories we'll treasure forever.

Even though I'm afraid of heights, the professional setup and enthusiastic guides made me feel completely secure. By the end, I was whooping with joy on every line!
