LA Jolla 76 Roadside Grill — Restaurant in Valley Center

Love riding my motorcycle on the backroads of San Diego. The Hideout has ok food, smaller menu, and alcohol. This place has TV's for sports, air conditioning, excellent food, and cheap gas next door. Once they get their alcohol license, the Hideout better watch out! Try their tots with cheese and chili or their Philly cheese steak. Large portions. Excellent service by Mary. Be a killer place to hold a club meeting, just sayin. They have breakfast and lunch, closes at 7pm. Their biscuits and gravy breakfast is delicious and filling, as well as their Buffalo Chicken and fries plate. Very popular. I added jalapenos and garlic parmesan sauce to it. If you find yourself out exploring on the 76 East or maybe camping at the La Jolla Indian reservation campground, this little roadside diner is a great option. The atmosphere was a little busy for me, with way more televisions than a restaurant like this (that's not a sports bar) should have... in my opinion.

This place is perfect! We needed a spot to watch sports, enjoy air conditioning and have some good food. The menu is on point and the food is chunky! Everything looks great! The breakfast burritos are huge, the Philly cheese sandwich is bomb, and the burger is fire! You definitely wanna get cheap gas here, grab a bite, and enjoy the river! Hours have changed.
