Muscardini Cellars — Attraction in California

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a small winery that left a lasting impression on me. Despite its modest size, this winery boasted an impressive selection of wines that catered to a variety of tastes.

From the moment I entered, I was greeted by a knowledgeable and passionate staff who were eager to share their expertise and guide me through their extensive wine collection. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and it added to the overall charm of the place.

The wine selection was truly exceptional. Whether you're a fan of bold reds, crisp whites,this winery had something to please every palate. Each wine was crafted with care, showcasing the dedication and skill of the winemakers.

What impressed me most was the attention to detail in every bottle. The flavors were well-balanced, and the wines exhibited a complexity that delighted my senses. It was evident that the winery took pride in producing high-quality wines, and it certainly showed in the tasting experience.

While the winery may be small in size, it more than made up for it with its exceptional wine selection. During a wine tour we booked through a 3rd party, we had a pre paid wine tasting at 3 wineries and this was our second stop. The young woman serving us refused to honor our 3 pour tasting as myself and one other person in my party do not drink red wine so in lieu of red we asked for the continuation of the white wine (1st tasting).

She gave me push back for the second tasting, had to ask her manager, but eventually poured us some white. When I asked for the 3rd tasting she declined saying she could not keep pouring the same white wine as they are a small winery however we only got two tastings vs three and just because we don’t drink red wine.

This young lady had an extremely poor attitude and was talking under her breath as she walked away from our table which was beyond unprofessional and sealed the deal of us never coming back to this winery.

In addition, another group in our tour shared that the same young woman refused to pour one of their tastings as she over poured a tasting to their friend! That is your fault, not the...

A lovely Saturday afternoon at this beautiful winery, enjoying a great flight of wine selections in a relaxing setting on their grassy, shaded patio! Nicole was an outstanding hostess: friendly, knowledgeable and so service-oriented. My husband and I, along with our Labrador Retriever, Cooper, truly enjoyed the experience. It's one of the first wineries where we liked every selection served! What's refreshing about this small, family-owned winery is that it's dog-friendly and family-friendly. They serve charcuterie but it's nice that they also allow you to bring your own food. We grabbed some sandwiches at the Glen Ellen grocery and had a relaxing and most memorable wine-tasting experience at Muscardini.
