My go-to trail for morning hiking with many options of intertwining trails with a good amount of elevation gain and loss. Wildlife is also abundant on this trial, I have personally encountered rattlesnakes, coyotes, bobcats, and even a local bear who tends to hang out around the northern section of Auburn State Recreation Area.. each time I've seen him he's already running away.
