Playground was cool. Some of the kids were mean and bullyish. They have clean restrooms and it seems decently maintained. One star taken away for the difficulty of getting there. It can only be accessed going 74 East and you can only go 74 East when you leave. None of the closest lights allow you to U turn either. Honestly, the behavior of the children my nephew encountered there has left a sour taste in my mouth so I won't be back. Only reason it is included in my review is to provide a warning to those who may want to go out of their way to visit. Hopefully, you don't have the same experience. My nephew is not perfect and I address his behavior when necessary so I'm not one of those people who thinks that everyone else has the problem. There is a number of tables for picnic, as well as some shaded areas with tables (I assume requiring reservation). Public restroom - good (clean, toilet paper, soap and hand dryer). There is not much shade, but lots of space otherwise.
From the downsides - it's located next to some wild areas with rattlesnakes, so parents should pay some attention where the younger kids play. And another thing - the car entrance is accessible from a single southbound road with no u-turns in sight, which is not something to blame the park for, but the city who designed and developed the roads/park entrance.
