Today is Flag Day. Literally flag day. From Wikipedia, "It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777." I go there this morning and there were pride flags across the whole counter, loud and proud. So I asked the manager if there could be an American flags too. She says "the American flag is celebrated every day, so during pride month we only put up the pride flag." She says this literally on Flag Day. She was a white, clearly American woman so it's not like she doesn't know what country she is in.
