Benton County Public Library — Attraction in Camden

Sadly, the library seems to have gone downhill in the past few years. Staff that were once warm and friendly now seem tired, stressed, and downright cranky. There are certain days I'll turn around and leave rather than deal with the attitude and poor temperament of the librarians on duty. While the library is generally clean and there are some interesting programs (blind date with a book for example), the adult selection is sorely lacking, leaving patrons with rather dated options. Also a full on summer reading program rather than movie nights would be a huge benefit...

LOVE their children's activities!! As soon as you open the door, there are prepackaged children's activities that make different types of masks, head figures, etc. super simple for many different ages. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I also appreciate the clean restrooms and beautiful flowers outside....

Although I am used to a much larger selection of books.... moved here from Milwaukee..... every staff member has been friendly and helpful. I usually visit on Tuesday evenings when I have a standing appointment in Camden. The two women there are...
