Playa Peñon Brusi — Attraction in Camuy

This location in Hatillo, Puerto Rico is so beautiful. The ocean is rough but the rocks surrounding the beach blocks the waves and allows the wonderful warm beach water to mix with the cold ocean water and feels incredibly good. As a Hoosier (from Indiana) who moved to the island and has seen the tourist catered beaches and everything in between this is genuinely my favorite spot. Beautiful ocean view and sand beach, but please wear shoes on the beach. You'll walk away with beach feet (cuts and stings) if you don't. It never fails!

During Winter months the waves on this side are extremely dangerous. I'd really not recommend swimming or shell hunting...
