El Caldo — Restaurant in Camuy

SO DISAPPOINTED in this place. My family and I stayed close by this restaurant while we were on vacation and could hear the music from our air bnb.. we figured it be a nice place to go at night and get a drink and food. We waited 1.5 hours for the most basic food I’ve ever had on vacation. I honestly think the server forgot about us but idk. All of us ordered tacos which tasted like a McDonald’s snack wrap and my brother got pork chops that were super dry. My son got the famous burger they make and he seemed to enjoy it. The best thing about this place was the music.. hope they can do better because it is a cute spot but the wait for the food just...

I'm not one to give three-star reviews unless someone has really earned it, and I have to say that this place did. We got three piña coladas, and two of them were virgin piña coladas for our kids. I could not tell the difference between the ones for my kids and the ones for me. That's pretty remarkable, because I hardly ever drink alcohol and I'm very sensitive to the flavor of it.

I told the bartender and she just gave me an "oh well" look and said the adult one had alcohol in it. I have to say that the rice and beans were absolutely delicious though, but my experience with the drinks and service make me not...

Management should take a second to analize the staff situation. Place full and only having 3 employees running tables and drinks.. also it doesn't make any sense that we order appetizer and main plates, the plates tooked 40 minutes but the appetizers tooked 1 hour and 56 minutes. I know is not employees fault, but management or owners should think about things they can chance to improve on...
