The hall of fame village already collects a hefty fee from field rentals, but then they go ahead and charge parents a $5 fee per head. As one of (if not the only) complex’s to charge, family members are forced to put additional amounts of money up to support their child/grandchildren. I understand a charge of family members outside the immediate family, but athletes participating in tournaments or games should be granted at least two vouchers to allow mom/dad to use or pass to caregivers of the child/athlete.
In addition to this guests are also forced to “chug” their drinks from outside or toss them. I was instructed to “chug” my energy drink or throw it away. That rule only applies to certain drinks because others coming in right behind me carrying cans of soda and/or coffee tumblers had zero issues. Literally no other value provided - $5 to stand and watch something you've already paid for. And mind you, all of these clubs are already paying fees to "rent" those fields.
The owners / management of this entire Hall of Fame Village complex / facility only care about 1 thing - sucking as much money as they can out of pockets. Shameful. I recommend avoiding this entire facility at every opportunity - give your money to some other business that isn't leaching off...
Read moreGood luck with parking there, thankfully we have a friend who lives close that we can park at their home and walk there. The prices of everything is ridiculous and the way the employees are treated makes me want to avoid this place at all cost. The activities are a hit or miss but do not be surprised if they allow something one day then not allow it the next. Whoever runs it allows the horrible employees to run things and drive out the good ones. Hopefully that changes but it's not a place worth visiting. Also there is not much for kids to do there so it's not as family friendly...
