Smoosh Cookies — Restaurant in Ohio

I read the reviews from previous customers, but like many people wanted to try it out for myself. My son and I went there Friday because we like to try new food places …very nice looking store and customer service was excellent ; however, just like many of the previous customers on the reviews the product does not warrant the extremely high price. Ice cream was fine and the cookies were fine. However we paid $25 for two sandwiches which is outrageous for a average size ice cream sandwich one that would cost six dollars in normal ice cream store. Ordered two ice cream sandwiches, had very little stock of cookies and what they did have were old and hard and we had to get two seperate kinds because they were out of sets. The ice cream was the worst part, it was ICE cream. At some point they must have thawed and then froze again cause it was horrible. Just crystals and when she heated the cookies it turned to water. You would be better off going to DQ down the street, much better choice. For $10 a sandwich you would expect more quality. I'm all for supporting local, but was disappointed when I took my husband this evening for his first visit. We waited in line for 35 minutes as one employee was struggling to accommodate multiple people's orders. As the poor girl kept a smile on her face, handling DoorDash and the store...another employee comes in from out of left field like she was saving the day and as we finally make it to the counter after 40 patient minutes...we were told they had no brownies and that we should be there early if we want them because they only bake once a day.
