Kando Puppies — Attraction in Canton

I do not recommend Kando Puppies. While my husband was in the hospital, some ladies came to visit with a Havanese and he fell in love with it. We had a Bichon, but she had recently passed away at the age of 13, and when he found out the Havanese was related to the Bichon and didn’t shed and was hypoallergenic like the Bichon he wanted one. My sister-in-law found a puppy locally and made the purchase for me so I could give him his new puppy when he came home from the hospital. It turns out that the puppy she purchased had a “throwback” gene according to the breeder, Jo Guthrie, and was a short hair Havanese. My husband had many allergies and we could not keep the puppy because short hair Havanese shed and are not hypoallergenic like a regular Havanese and the Bichon. Jo now tells me the puppy is a full Havanese, but does the picture below look like a purebred Havanese?

To make a long story shorter, I contacted Jo and she said she would do whatever would make me happy, give me a refund or replace the puppy. I chose to replace the puppy and waited for another litter and told her my husband did not want a solid black. I believe there were three additional litters born, but I was only contacted about one of them, and all puppies were black. Of the two additional litters, she did not contact me, I saw them on her website. One litter was all black, all were sold, the other was multicolored, all were sold, and they were very expensive and, even if she had contacted me about them, I wouldn’t have been able to pay the difference. It has been a year and I have asked for a refund because my husband passed away and the price of her puppies have gone up considerably and I don’t have the money to pay the difference even if I had been offered one, but my sister-in-law said she would pay the difference for me. Kando Puppies is First Class! We had been searching for weeks to find an Aussie Doodle puppy in time to surprise our 5 kids for Christmas in 2018. Kando Puppies was literally an answer to our prayers! Not only were their puppies reasonably priced but their standards of care were of the highest caliber. After losing our 15 year old/female dachshund in September 2021, the unsettling quietness in our home made me terribly sad. Going from having a trio, to the duo, then uno really made my heart heavy.

I've always been biased and loved a smooth, short haired, red coat. It wasn't until I started looking, to see what was out there, did I realize that this would be more challenging than expected! When I found BeBe, I immediately fell in love. I started crying and emailed Kando checking to see if she was still available!!!! Jo messaged me back quickly and she got the contract in place.

Less than a week later, I went and bought BeBe's sister Shelby! Our family feels complete again!!! Loving the new adventure!!!
