Pelican Park — Attraction in Carencro

The event venues are really neat. They feel local and intimate without feeling crowded. Their live music stage is one of the most unique and fun setups I've been too. I'd mark 5-stars if they'd had figured out parking for a crowd as large as Glo in the Cro, but part of me thinks that it's because they genuinely didn't expect the crowds they had. Lovely spot to have a nice morning walk with several playgrounds for the kids in the afternoon.. it's absolutely UNREAL how many parking spots they have here. This is much needed due to all the baseball games that take place here. Pelican park has free concerts on Wednesdays (seasonally). Expect quality Zydeco, Cajun, or Country music. Free did is sometimes provided (but rarely vegetarian). There are no dogs allowed signs but people bring their dogs when events are not going on. Although I only being my Service Dog or my SDIT.
