Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Carencro

Went there tonight 04/13/2024 at about 11:15pm so get a blast after noticing that their stated hours were 7am to 12am. Upon arrival, we see a manager say something into the headset and walk to the back out of sight. After about ten minutes of waiting (after pressing the red button), we see two employees come to the front (aprox 11:25pm) with no headsets on, no hats, and wearing air pods. My fiancé and I sat there for about 25 minutes waiting to be acknowledged, while we watched another vehicle pull up to an order stall as well. They also got ignored. I’m writing this at 11:40pm the same night. I understand that they may be tired, but my fiancé RUNS AN ENTIRE KITCHEN STAFF and I also work in a fast paced food service job. If the manager and the employees are truly that tired, maybe they need to fix their availability to not work so late. There are numerous complaints about this location with no resolutions. I’m amazed that it is still open after all of these years. I have lived in carencro my entire life, but I will NOT be coming back to this location when there are many other locations with employees and managers that will actually acknowledge the customers existence and follow their...

Ordered on my app, got there and it would let me check in. So money I am out of. Then my husband orders through the app and it takes them over 10 minutes (on a slow night at a sonic) They bring out the completely wrong food. No combo and no grilled cheese. Instead somehow the carhop didn't notice a coney and a wacky pack? Carhop didn't even read the recipt to my husband. Last I checked this is basic sonic stuff. Then goes away before my husband could correct it. Then when he goes to get it fixed they take well over 10 minutes to get it. I know for a fact chicken is the only thing that takes over 5 minutes to cook so it's ridiculous to wait like 15+ minutes for food. Then the food is trash. Like the burger is so greasy you could use the grease to fry food and still have some left. Ontop of that it's all cold as heck and nasty. The burger was like glued together because how poor it was. We went to the local sonic which is about a 5 minutes drive from home. We orders two combo meals. Mine was a chicken sandwich with onion rings my husband was a foot long coney with gator tots with two vanilla shakes. The food was cold, the ice creams were melted, the chicken patty was burnt and hard and dry, the onion rings was also burnt, the tarot tots was still frozen inside. I'd love to know where they get these employees from. We have both been calling the corporate office almost every day since this happened. No one has ever returned any of our phone calls. The only reason I gave them one star is because I can't give them 0 stars. The service is terrible. I truly believe the employees there do as they please because they know no one is going to do anything about it. I'd stay as far away as I can from this place.
