
Pitcher Park has one of the best bowls for skating in Pittsburgh. This bowl flows super well and is fairly friendly to all levels of skaters, beginners can start at the waterfall, there is steel coping for those who aren't comfortable and plenty of pool coping for advanced skaters. Note that there is mellow pool coping to drop in near the shallow end to practice.
There are no bathrooms near by, you must walk down the hill to find the nearest one. Water is hard to find, the fountain is busted so you must either bring your own or go to the mini golf place if it's even open.
The street section of the park is fun, it takes getting used to finding the right flow.
